So there are a lot of things in Europe that I prefer to the states. One of these things is most definitely their zoos. Because people aren't so sue-happy over here the zoos are much more people friendly...meaning you can actually get close to the animals. Here are a few shots of Sophia and a few of the animals and their proximity to us (without fences) at the zoo near our home. We have season passes (you pay for them in just two visits) and we go about once a week. The monkey in that one shot was up on a wheelchair after bouncing from the trees to retrieve a snack from a tourist's bag. Too funny.
