Dinant

This is the city of Dinant. You'll notice it is crammed between cliffs and a river. Atop the cliff is a compound called The Citadel. This is a huge castle like structure with many cave-like passageways and was built in the 11th century. It was most recently occupied by the Germans during WWII and has housed many countries since its' construction. The city was very picturesque and it was a gorgeous day to see it. I've also included a photo of the tram we used to get up to the Citadel. Sophia nicknamed it the "Flying Train". I've also included a picture of our home (which I have intended to put on every post since I got here, but always seem to forget)!
