Belgium
Well to update everyone it seems as if we will be overseas next year. John has been offered a transfer to NATO's headquarters at the Supreme Headquarters of the Allied Powers of Europe, teaching Chemistry at the American school in Mons, Belgium. Barring any problems with his background check (which I am assuming will come back empty), he will leave the U.S. in August and Sophia and I will join him in January. I will be staying behind to finish my coursework and perform my senior recital for Saint Rose. I am dreading the fall, but cannot wait to romp around Europe! John is so excited. It is located forty minutes south of Brussels and is less than two hours from Amsterdam, Paris and London, four hours from Switzerland and only ten hours to Cannes on the French Riviera. Does it get any better than that???

Hooray, we can't wait to visit! It sounds so official--the "Supreme Headquarters" and all...And I can't believe you are dreading the fall when your favorite sister will be coming to visit for over a month! What's to dread about that??
Wow! Belgium. That sounds like an adventure we would like to have as well! Next time we are in Belgium we'll have someone to visit! ;)
